Cho-Rui game record

Post by Bill Spight »

I am looking for the game record of the game between Cho Hye-yeon and Rui Naiwei on Oct. 7, 2009. It is supposed to have an interesting ko. :) I did a quick web search and did not find it. If anybody can point me to it, I would appreciate it. :) Thanks.

1-15-2010,
1-26-2010,
2-2-2010,
2-8-2010,
3-15-2010,
3-24-2010

Bill, maybe this one?

I looked it up too, and like Kirby, I couldn't find one on that date.

The first game from the 11th Female Myeongin title match had what i would call an interesting ko. (http://igo-kisen.hp.infoseek.co.jp/11fmt1.sgf) Though you probably have seen this already and it is not the ko you are interested in.

Thanks for the help, guys! :)

It turns out I got the wrong info. The date was Jan. 9, '09 (01/09/09), not Oct. 7, '09 (10/07/09). I have found the game. :)

What was the purpose of move 30 in the game? I can't see what it accomplishes for white.
We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.
