Presentation about go

Post by HermanHiddema »

Last year I gave a talk about go at a local research institute.

If anyone wants to do something similar, e.g. give a presentation at work or school, the slides for that talk could be a good starting point:

Feel free to copy & edit as you see fit!

Slides 16 and 17 are mostly country specific, so you would have to edit those to reflect your own country, but the rest is probably quite usable in many situations. I think the slides cover most of the important topics that might interest those unfamiliar with the game.

Whoa, that’s beau-ti-ful!

Is it possible to download and edit offline (to German) since I can’t use the ’net when I instruct the local School Go Workshop?

Thank you!

You have to edit online, but once you're done you can download the result for presenting offline (requires Mac or Windows, see: https://prezi.zendesk.com/entries/22441 ... able-prezi). There is an offline editor as well, but I think you need a paid account for that.

I made a similar presentation a few years ago in Powerpoint, so that'd work offline, but doesn't have quite the same snazzy transitions as Herman's (and PP animations make you look like a 12 year old).
