General discussions about gobans, etc., go here. If you're selling go equipment, it should go in the Trading Post.

KGT shipping rates

Post by TheCatLver »

So I've been thinking about buying some go bowls and board but I'm not sure what the shipping rates would be. If anyone who have bought from KGT before please let me know.

-thanks a lot

Hi TheCatLver, you could email Mr. Kuroki directly and ask him.
In the past, he would give me two choices, a fast 4-day-ish shipping time,
or a slower, 2-month shipping time. The price difference was 50%.

The slow boat-around-the-Horn method works fine and saves you a lot of money. It's like how things used to be before instant gratification.
The anticipation is tolerable.
The thrill of the almost forgotten delivery appearing on your doorstep is palpable.

Happy shopping, the whole experience of working with KGT is delightful.
