I tried that, and it kept saying that it received invalid game data....Joaz Banbeck wrote:Note the use of sgf tags.

Re: Kitani Minoru is my HERO!!!
Just out of curiosity, what make him so heroic?
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Yes, tell us what you like about him and why you selected this game. I mean, other than still being able to win against 9-dans (albeit as black) at the age of 51 a few years after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage, which one must admire.
I think there are so many things to admire. I think the first pro games I played through were between him and Go Seigen (it was in that free collection translated by Jim Z. Yu). What a time...when players played their own stuff without regard as to whether anyone else thought it was good.

There is much to admire about Kitani, including shin fuseki and his amazingly successful go school.snorri wrote: I think there are so many things to admire. Slightly OT, does anybody know if the games in Jim
Yu's book have been converted to sgf, and where they might be found?
