...Immediately take gote again myself! Brilliant, I know. Really, I was wondering what on earth I could play on bottom, and this is the idea I'm working on. The marked white stone is slightly weaker 'than normal' because I never peeped at 'x' and thus a fight on the bottom is more interesting for me. I didn't want to play a move close to my marked solid stones. I can treat 'a' and 'b' as miai to strengthen my leftern group.
I suppose I should pick up 'l' myself if it's still around after pancake's sente.
Still working on what becomes possible top left when white inevitably does not fix E18.
Vague suspicion the 3-3 is just still invadable in a bad-for-me-ish way.
:w3: looks slow, but I feel it's a move that's bigger than it looks.
I agree with Araban. White would like to do something at the bottom but I think the bottom-left White stones ended up over-concentrated. As a result, it seems hard to effectively act directly against the Black stone on the bottom. I think the upper right is the most urgent boundary between Black and White. If White plays there first, the Black top looks immediately over-concentrated in turn. If Black tries to pull out the single stone on the right, White can have fun attacking it and may create the opportunity to profitably attack the bottom stone as well. If Black let's the right side stone go, the White right side territory suddenly grows very large.

Eh, I still like my plan from before (though I am not intending to stick to it religiously). I opted against picking up Q14 to (perhaps misguidedly) try and keep R11's options somewhat open on the right depending on what conditions my current play precipitates.
I don't think Black should make that exchange and tenuki. Before Black was light and hard to attack, after the exchange I think there are less options to handle that stone.
This would be most likely to happen of I extend up. It's not too bad but the marked white stone looks in a crappy place. He will possibly exchange a for b for the aji at c.
This looks a lot better, eventhough it's bad for influence. I can still jump at a or play b. (Maybe he will play 2 low). These are the only possibilities I can think of. If he plays this without making the side extension it's really weird, so no further analysis needed here.
Well, I feel like the edge of this moyo is very big, and not very gote (yet) anyway, I think.
I had failed to consider this descent. Black can make good-ish shape with respect to the centre, but not do that and close that skirt. I hope opting for "neither" wasn't a big mistake . My concern was that the following did not seem quite big enough with moves on eg. the right up for grabs, though this sequence seems a bit farcical somehow and I am perhaps mistaking it.
Hmmm, nice move. But I still think he should continue on the bottom after the exchange. So my first thought would be to play a. I think reducing around b is slow and small. c is also still big.

Let's examine a.. If black responds at a instead of 2, it's a good exchange and I will play on the left. So the only option would be like this. It looks really hard, but let's look at a few possibilities.

Well, my logic is as follows; a contact play here will strengthen my corner and white's outside. All my corner really wants is a little more eyespace. So, I'll take my eyespace, white can worry about being strong outside.
I was thinking about the cuts at a and b. For the cut at a I need some preparation like the c-d exchange, but the cut doesn't seem promising to me. The cut for him on the lower side is fightable for me, plus he responded like a good submissive little boy already, so it shouldn't be too big. That's why I'll stick to my original plan of playing e.
Well, that stone is on a clearly nice spot, and I would now like to get A2 for my group's happiness and wellbeing. Eventually.
I have played a lot of moves around the marked white group, and need to look for the best followup. Maybe I can start at X? Where am I going with that, though?
On the left, I quite want to keep developing my moyo by playing some or all of the lettered sequence.

I am expecting because of the weakness at x, and afterwards I think I will look further into a, b and c. B was my first thought but appears rare on my database, which is strange because I could swear I remember seeing it all the time in pro games. I do want sente to play the sequence I mentioned on the left.
Sorry for being really slow. I had a busy week. This weekend was the preliminary tournament for the Dutch championships. I can proudly say I qualified . Anyway, that's why I didn't have anytime for this game.. I will play a move tomorrow!
I obviously cannot ignore this move, so I'll just talk about what will happen if I respond here. I think he's aiming at something like this if I answer on the side:

I first want to exchange things in the lower left. There are a lot of details on this sequence, black might give more resistance, but it will end bad for him. Then I want to strike at what seems to be the vital spot with 8. If he plays a, I'll play b. If he plays b, I will play c, a and d will be miai. At least that was my first thought. If he plays a, then he can clamp my move d at e. It's not that easy to read out, but I think I won't get a good result.

After counting, I think I can win if I just play calmly, so my 8 should be here to reinforce my group and threaten something on his lower side. If he reinforces at let's say a, then b makes it very small. with 8 I also aim at something like c-d-e-f-g. So this should be good for me.
Ofcourse there's also the possibility of him just tenuki'ing after I respond at the side. I think cutting will not be good for him:

"Saving" the crossed stone seems very likely to give me good influence in gote, also in exchange for making the white group very strong.
If I'm going to take good influence in gote anyway, I can do it over here. But wait, there's more! By leaving my crossed stone, if/when white aggressively reduces my moyo or attacks the squared stones, he has the bad aji at 'a' for me to aim at. (This sounds a lot better than my normal plan for when white aggressively reduces my moyo:
)
NB: I also did previously describe 45 as a "probe" which implies I have no strong commitment to *immediately* following it up locally.
PS: Linked image was from a random google image search, hopefully it hangs around.
PPS: 'a' directly may have been severe, but it's a scary and difficult fighting move, and I don't see that as necessary.
