I've been keeping track of the results on my own since igokisen's site hasn't been updating as fast as I'd like, which you may find here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3197383/lg.html

Thanks for posting the results!
I think a few Chinese players' name might be misspelled, probably because they are spelled that way on Korean website?
He Jin(3d) --> He Xin(3d) (何鑫)
Yan Zheming(3d) --> Yan Zaiming(3d) (严在明)
Dong Mengcheng(4d) --> Tong Mengcheng(4d) (童梦成)
Xu Yijin(1d) --> Xu Zexin(1d) (徐泽鑫)
Xia Jiankun(4d) --> Xia Chenkun(4d) (夏晨琨)
Wang Yixin(4d) --> Wang Zejin(4d) (王泽锦)
Hu Renmin(4d) --> Hu Ranmin(4d) (胡然闵)
Chun Guangya(6d) --> Wu Guangya(6d) (邬光亚)

Re: 21st LG cup started.....
I just took the romanization from igokisen (and everything else really), I'll update the names later.

That's what I thought. I have seen Wu Guangya spelled as Chun Guangya quite a few times. Was "Chun" Korean romanization of Wu(乌)?

No, Wu Guangya in Korean is 우광야, which would be romanized as Wu Guangya. It might be a Japanese thing, since igokisen is a Japanese site.wolfking wrote:That's what I thought. I have seen Wu Guangya spelled as Chun Guangya quite a few times. Was "Chun" Korean romanization of Wu(乌)?

I think in Korean, they would write '乌' as '烏', and pronounce it as 'oh' (오).

Re: 21st LG cup started.....
Aha! Someone in comments on a Japanese site suggested this theory, which seems plausible.
So perhaps somebody mixed up the Chinese character for his name, thought it was "鶉", which is pronounced as "Chun" in Japanese. At least if we want to trust some random person on the Internet.

鶉がchunだから、鶉と勘違いしたのでしょう
With "邬", of course being "wu", "鶉" is "chun", so it looks like just a mix up with "鶉".

That is indeed plausible! As a matter of fact 鹑 is the second character in the Chinese word 鹌鹑 meaning quail, and is also pronounced as "Chun". It's just that in Chinese 邬 is a relatively common family name while nobody uses 鹑 for names, so it is unlikely to mix them up.
