load sgf

Post by cyclops »

Most of the time I don't like to use Eidogo and I download the sgf from Eidogo to watch it in smartgo. However with some authors including Bill Spight ( in this message ) this route fails and I get the message displayed in the picture attached.

Same here. Interestingly enough, my sgf at the top of the same thread can be downloaded without trouble. Perhaps it has to do with how the file is attached to the post. I used the method fwiffo described here.

You can also paste the SGF data inline, though you may run into size limits with SGF files larger than a few kilobytes.

Good tip, thx! It halfs the nuisance. Before i pasted it into a file, made it into a sgf document and loaded it into Drago.
Still I don't understand how some authors produce unloadable sgf's. Any idea?
