The game was even more interesting than the result, Park played a funky 5th line attachment on top of a pincer, and later a huge ko and trade:

Re: 2018 Samsung World Masters starts
I'm impressed with the way W chose P15 in the top right joseki, then followed brilliantly with the ladder breaker at R9. Although W low right dragon dead in the end, he seems to get enough compensation with the top.
Not sure if there is a better alternative for C16, this seems to be the losing move.

I recognise him! He was at the amateur Gold Cup in China in summer 2016, then a 16-year-old 6d student. He came 7th place with 5/7. You can see him in this photo I took of the Korean winners: https://www.lifein19x19.com/viewtopic.p ... 99#p210099.trout wrote: Amateur Yoon Seongsik(left) advanced to the main tournament by beating Li Zhe, Ahn Xungtao, Byun Sangil, and Song Kyusang.

Edit: Or maybe I already did with different transliteration, at the 2016 WAGC where he was 5d and got 4/8. http://www.europeangodatabase.eu/EGD/Pl ... y=17301361
